How to Insert Emojis in Windows 8

Step-by-step instructions
- Open the Touch Keyboard by right-clicking the task bar, choosing "Toolbars," and selecting "Touch Keyboard."
- Click the Touch Keyboard icon that appears in the task bar. Then select the smiley face key between the Control key and the space bar.
- The Touch Keyboard gives you a variety of different emoji categories to choose from. When you click an emoji, it will appear wherever the cursor is in your document or browser.
NOTE: Some Windows emojis will not appear correctly in certain browsers, like Google Chrome.
