At the beginning of 2021, multiple reports emerged from women detailing that they discovered the 1F acronym written outside their homes or on their cars. One woman reported 1F drawn in the snow when she took out her trash, and another discovered it written in the dirt on her car.
Some of these reports were shared on TikTok, a video-sharing social site. TikTokers reacted to the posts by urging them to be careful since 1F is often a term utilized by thieves to mark potential victims vulnerable to attack.
