What does drag mean?

To insult

Drag is a slang term that means to insult a person, which is similar to dis or burn. It comes from a person being dragged over hot coals and getting burned.

Drag gained mainstream popularity in late 2016 and the beginning of 2017. It is just one of many ways to exclaim about a person getting made fun of and embarrassed. It is not to be confused with a drag queen or drag racing.
