The Squad
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib
Example
While I don't agree with everything the squad does, I love the normal things they do, like play games on Twitch and eat Ramen noodles

The Squad is a nickname for U.S. politicians Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) (NY-14), Ayanna Pressley (MA-7), Ilhan Omar (MN-5), and Rashida Tlaib (MI-13). The women were elected to the United States House of Representatives in 2018, and were dubbed "The Squad" by AOC a week after the election on Instagram.
The four women became the faces of a new wave of representation in the U.S. House of Representatives. They are all people of color (POC) and under 50 years-of-age at the time of their election in 2018.
Besides their demographics, they have also gained notoriety due to their progressive ideals, and have clashed with Republicans and even some Democrats. While AOC is the most prominent figure, "The Squad" is often referred to by conservatives as the face of progressivism, especially in regards to environmental, health care, economic, and immigration issues.
On October 22, 2020, U.S. President Donald Trump referred to them as "AOC plus three" during the U.S. Presidential debate against Joe Biden. All of the Congresswomen in "The Squad" rebuked the President, feeling disrespected by him for being referred to as a nickname instead of their actual titles and names.
