WRUD

What does WRUD stand for?

What are you doing

WRUD is a quick way of asking someone about their future plans or what they are currently doing. For example, your friend might text you, "WRUD 2nite? U free?"

You will most likely see WRUD in a text or online message. People usually send it when they are romantically interested in a person and want to get together. However, they may also just be sending it as a friend curious about what they are up to. Or, some people send it in a "what the heck are you doing?!?!" tone.

If you feel kind, you can respond by sharing your current or future plans. And if you are creeped out by the person and don't want to lead them on, you can react with NOYB.

Example

WRUD next Saturday? I was thinking we could go snowboarding
