AWL

What does AWL mean in emails?

Always with love

When used at the end of a message, AWL stands for "always with love." This sign-off lets you know the sender truly loves you - and always will.

You're most likely to encounter AWL at the end of a long (and loving) email message sent by a friend or family member. For example, your mom might end her emails to you with AWL, if she's especially acronym-savvy. Typically, AWL is followed by the email sender's name, so you know who exactly will always love you.

Example

Thanks for being there for me.
AWL,
John

A woman who ends all her emails with AWL
