Those who are biding their time use bitmt to stand for "but in the meantime." This acronym prefaces an action a person will take (or wants you to take) while they're waiting for another event to occur.
For example, if you are texting your mother, and she tells you she "Won't be back to start dinner until 6. bitmt clean up your room," she wants you to clean your room before she gets home. Bitmt is most often used in conversations among friends and family, though your boss or a co-worker might also tell you to perform a task itmt.
