Entry Fragger

What is an entry fragger?

A CS:GO player who initiates engagements

In Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), an entry fragger is a player whose job is to be the first to engage the enemy and claim contested ground. Named for their propensity to die, a skilled entry fragger will not only be the first to kill an opposing player, but will also manage to not be killed in the process.

Entry fraggers do not blindly charge opponents and contested areas. Instead, they listen to their team's IGL and coordinate with other team members to act as the spearhead for larger assaults. The entry fragger's job is not to win the game on their own, but to create advantageous situations their teammates can exploit (even at the cost of the entry fragger's life).
