FYF means "from your friend." You're most likely to see this acronym used as a sign-off in email messages, sent by (you guessed it) your friends.
Because sending long email messages to your friends is a dying art (thanks, social media), you're unlikely to encounter FYF these days. Still, you may see FYF used at the end of long DMs and chat messages, which have largely replaced emails these days.
