Larping

What does larping mean?

Live action role-playing

Larping is when people gather together and participate in a Live Action Role-Playing (LARP) game. It is a social event where people dress up in costumes and act the part of fictitious characters.

Larping typically centers around a fantasy movie, TV show, book, or comic like LOTR or GoT. People who larp are sometimes ridiculed for acting like children and not being cool. However, when people actually try larping they usually enjoy it.
