What is n/m short for?

Nevermind

N/m is an online chat abbreviation that means "nevermind." It is similar to (but used less) than the nm and nvm abbreviations.

Nevermind, of course, is another way of saying "forget about it" or "it doesn't matter." When someone sends you n/m, it means they either:

  • Don't want to repeat themselves
  • Don't think what they said was important
  • Want to change the subject
