In social media and forum posts about investments, NFA stands for "not financial advice." Posters use this acronym to ensure you (and the SEC) do not regard their post as legal financial advice.
To (at least theoretically) protect retail investors from making bad investments, the U.S. and other countries regulate who can legally provide investment advice. So, in posts about investments, NFA is a CYA - used by posters who want to share their opinion about a stock, cryptocurrency, bond, or other investment, but don't want to be prosecuted for illegally providing financial advice.
(This definition is NFA.)
