What does NLOL stand for in messages?

Not laughing out loud

Someone who sends you NLOL is decidedly "not laughing out loud." Typically, people send this acronym when they've found a message you sent to be NF.

For example, if you text a friend a joke that they find offensive, they may reply with NLOL (and some other choice words). This means your friend did not find your joke funny.
