On online auction sites, NR stands for "no reserve." If a listing includes this acronym, it means there's no minimum bid (reserve) required for the item to be sold.
At the end of an NR auction, the auctioned item will be sold to the highest bidder - regardless of their bid amount. You might see the NR acronym used on eBay and other auction sites, when a seller wants to attract a large number of bidders or really, really needs to sell an item.
