PVC

What does PVC stand for?

Player versus computer

PvC games are those in which players play entirely against the game's AI, rather than other players. Many single-player games are strictly PvC games, as are some team-based multiplayer games.

Often, games include both player versus computer and player versus player (PvP) modes. For example, a chess game may include both a PvC mode, in which you can practice against the game's AI, and a PvP mode, in which you can connect to the Internet and play against other players.

Example

I like PvC games because I can pause them when I need a break
A Smite player who prefers the game's PvC modes
