AWHFY is a sarcastic and rhetorical acronym people may use to ask if others are having a good time (when they obviously aren't). Most people use it when texting or messaging online, whether on social sites, forums, etc.
For example, you may be in a group message with your friends at a boring school assembly and text them, "zzz awhfy? anybody wanna dip early?" Or, you might be in a group on a social site, and someone posts an awkward complaint about the members' behavior and you may simply reply with, "AWHFY? ;)"
