A BNO, or boys' night out, is a night in which a group of guys get together and hit the town. You're most likely to encounter this acronym while discussing a BNO with a group of bros, or with the SOs they're leaving behind for the evening.

For example, if you ask your friend Sarah what she's doing Saturday night, she might respond "No plans currently. The BF has a BNO, so I'm available for whatever." This means Sarah's boyfriend has a boys' night out planned, so she's free to meet up Saturday.
