A video game that simulates dating

Dating sims are video games in which players go on a series of dates with NPCs, in hopes of building a successful romantic relationship. Typically, these games are 2D, dialogue-heavy games, in which players make a series of choices while romancing one or more potential SOs.

Some dating sims are math-heavy RPGs, in which players must increase their charisma and other relationship-related stats to secure the object of their affection. Others are purely narrative, and rely on players making the right moves to woo their preferred partner.
