A daterview is a date where you get peppered with questions, making it feel like you are at a job interview instead of a romantic outing. For example, if your date asks you many questions about your past, present, and future without any hint of romance or flirtation, your date starts to feel like a daterview.
Daterviews are common when the two people on the date are older and don't want to waste each other's time. At this stage of life, one or both of them care less about romance and spontaneity and are more practical, looking for someone serious about a long-term relationship or compatibility.
