What does DIL stand for?

When discussing members of their family, parents might use the acronym DIL to stand for "daughter-in-law." A daughter-in-law is a woman who is married to a parent's child, making her part of that parent's family by law rather than blood.

Some DILs are close with their mothers-in-law (MIL) and/or fathers-in-law (FIL) while others are not. Many related acronyms, such as SIL and BIL, are used to refer to other in-law relations.
