To pretend you are something you are not

A term that refers to a person who acts in a way that doesn't represent who he really is in order to impress someone; commonly used to describe someone acting tough but is really a softie; similar to Poser.

Example

Man, Ryan's just frontin, he wouldn't do anything like that. He just wants you to think he's tough
