What does GU stand for in online commerce?

Gently used

If an item up for sale online is gently used, the seller may denote it as "GU." For example, a person may be selling golf clubs on the Internet and describe them as "GU clubs that are basically new. Get them for a great price!"

People may use it with all sorts of items, from sporting equipment to clothing to tech devices. For example, you may put a label print up for sale and list it as "A GU printer we've only used for 3 or 4 prints." Additionally, you may see it anywhere online where things are sold, such as an online auction or sales site, such as eBay, Facebook Marketplace, or Craig's List.
