LUB (love you, bye) is a quick way to end a text or chat conversation with a loved one. This acronym lets the recipient know that a) you love them and b) you're signing off for now.
If you receive LUB near the end of a conversation, you can respond with ILU2 and some variation of TTFN. This will let the sender know you understood their message, you love them, and you'll talk to them again later.
