Especially when used in trigger and content warnings, SA stands for "sexual assault." This acronym warns readers that the content to come mentions and possibly describes a sexual assault.
For example, if a Twitter post begins with the preface "TW // SA," that post will mention sexual assault. The TW // SA preface is a trigger warning, prompting readers to avoid the post if they are uncomfortable reading about sexual assault.
Users sometimes also use SA to mean sexual assault in the body of their social media and forum posts, to save characters and avoid spelling out sexual assault directly. This allows users to discuss sexual assault without ever actually typing the words sexual assault.
