A short but possibly confusing reference to the satirical news program on Comedy Central; the show revolves around the host, Jon Stewart, and his multiple comedian correspondents as they comment on national news stories.

The show originally premiered in 1996 with Craig Kilborn as host. Jon Stewart took over in 1999 and is still host to this day. The show was the longest running Comedy Central program on the air before it ended in 2015. It also has won multiple Primetime Emmy Awards for its writing.
