Toxic

What does it mean to be toxic?

Negative

Toxic means negative, destructive, or ruinous. It is typically used to describe a person or environment that is unhealthy psychologically and sometimes, physically.

Toxic people are unhappy with themselves and their current position in life, leading them to complain a lot and make themselves even more unhappy. They often spread false rumors about other people so they are not alone in their misery. When a toxic person begins affecting the people around them, like their family members or co-workers, they create a toxic environment that no one wants to be around.
