Analysis paralysis is a state of indecision caused by overanalyzing your options. In the face of this maelstrom of possibilities, those who suffer from analysis paralysis freeze up, and sometimes end up making no choice at all.
Ironically, analysis paralysis is usually caused by the desire to make the "correct" choice, even when doing so is either inconsequential, absurdly difficult, and/or impossible. In these cases, those who suffer from analysis paralysis would likely be better off making any choice quickly, rather than remaining indecisive forever.
