Binge Racer

What does binge racer mean?

A person who watches an entire season of a show within 24 hours

Binge racer is a term for a person that races to watch an entire season of a show within 24 hours of its release. It is typically done to avoid spoilers from other viewers. Some viewers also see it as a badge of honor and an accomplishment to brag about.

Binge racing can only be done on streaming sites, like Netflix, that release all the episodes of a season at once. While it's nice for people who don't want to wait a week for the next episode there are a number of critics of binge racing. Mostly those who think it robs fans of fun discussions about individual episodes and takes away the build up of having to wait a whole week for a show.
