Central time zone

A time zone acronym for the central portion, Midwest_ of the United States, which includes Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, parts of Illinois (including Chicago), and Louisiana; also covers parts of northern Canada and much of Central America; one hour behind the ET, 1 hour ahead of the MT, and 2 hours ahead of the PT.
