DDAS

What does DDAS stand for in messages?

Don't do anything stupid

DDAS is a reminder to not do anything stupid. You're most likely to receive this acronym in a text or chat message, sent by someone who a) cares about you and b) does not trust you to make good decisions.

For example, if you tell your bro that you're finally going to stand up to your boss, he may respond with DDAS. This is a reminder that, no matter how much you may want to chew out your boss, doing so is likely not a good idea.
