A statistic used in baseball to record a player's number of intentional walks.
An intentional walk is where the pitcher purposely throws four pitches outside of the strike zone in order to walk the batter. An IBB occurs when the batter is hitting well and first base is open so the pitcher can bypass the current hitter to pitch to the next hitter.
