Mid game is the middle of a match that takes place after the early game and before the late game.

In Hearthstone, mid game refers to the middle part of a game which is approximately turns 4 to 8. It is commonly used after a game when describing how the game went.

In StarCraft 2, the mid game takes place after both players have established their primary structures and have built second-tier units. During the mid game, players typically have one or two expansions. The length of the mid game in a StarCraft2 match can vary, but it typically lasts 10 to 15 minutes.
