Never Covids are people who have been exposed to COVID-19 but never infected. Two years into the covid pandemic, scientists began analyzing the Never Covid cohort in hopes of learning why Never Covids remain immune to COVID-19.
To be a Never Covid, a person must have knowingly been exposed to COVID-19 without actually contracting the disease. For example, a father who remained covid-free despite his SO and kids getting covid is a Never Covid. Researchers believe a variety of factors may contribute to Never Covids' seeming COVID-19 immunity, including genetics and previous infection by similar diseases.
