Potterhead means Harry Potter fan. It describes a person who is devoted to all things Harry Potter, which includes the book series, movies, theme park, and merchandise.
The fantasy series follows an orphaned boy-wizard named Harry Potter who attends Hogwarts, a school that teaches magic. He befriends Hermione and Ron and they go on many adventures together, including battling the evil Voldemort. The books were written by J.K. Rowling with the first one, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," being published in 1997. "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" was released in 1998, "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" was released in 1999, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" was released in 2000, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" was released in 2003, "Harry Potter and the Hal-Blood Prince" was released in 2005, and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" was released in 2007. The film adaptation features Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) as the three main characters.
