Rolling on the floor laughing
That was one of the funniest things I have ever seen!
|ROFL||Rolling on the floor laughing|
|ROFLMAO||Rolling on floor, laughing my a** off|
|ROFLOL||Rolling on the floor laughing out loud|
|LOL||Laughing out loud|
|LMAO||Laughing my a** off|
|LSHMSFOAIDMT||Laughing so hard my sombrero fell off and I dropped my taco|
|PMP||Peed my pants|
When something is so funny that it deserves more than an LOL, send "ROTFL." You don't have to literally be rolling around on the floor and laughing, just feeling like you could.
Most people send ROTFL when texting or online (they may be messaging or commenting on a person's funny post on social media). For example, your friend may reply with "ROTFL" after you post a video of a skateboard fail.
It is commonly seen as ROFL and is one of many hyperbolic acronyms for replying to something funny. Other examples include LMAO and PMP.
