RUFR (are you for real) is a quick way of asking someone whether they're being serious. You can respond with this acronym when you think someone is exaggerating or lying to you.
For example, if your BFF Bob tells you he won the lottery, you could respond with RUFR – because it's unlikely Bob actually won the lottery. If Bob says, no, he did actually win the lottery, you should quickly ask him for money.
