What does SSP stand for?

Survival Single Player

An acronym for the original game mode in Minecraft.

The SSP game mode consists of players exploring the land, fighting off mobs, gathering resources, and building structures in order to survive. It used to be the only game mode available in Minecraft. When connecting to a Minecraft server, players can interact with other users in SMP.
