A textationship is a relationship that only exists through texts. It typically indicates that one or both of the parties involved isn't interested in a real relationship.
Textationships often occur in middle school where kids are beginning to like each other but don't know how to actually socialize. It may also be done by one of the individuals because he or she is afraid to be seen with the other individual.
