During the 2014 Academy Awards, John Travolta was introducing a singer and completely butchered her name. Her name was "Idina Menzel" but he called her "Adele Dazeem." He was relentlessly made fun of on social sites like Twitter and Facebook and talk shows as well. A website even created a name generator where you can type in your name and the generator "travoltifies" it by spitting out a totally different and bizarre name.
