What does URL stand for?

Uniform Resource Locator

A Web acronym for a specific address of a website or file located on the Internet; located near the top of your Web browser, appearing like a white bar; commonly begins with "http://" or "https://" but is not limited to those two beginnings; the text following the "://" contains the address of the site.
