Went Ghost

What does went ghost mean?

Disappeared

When a person went ghost, they disappeared without a trace. They may have left a social gathering, relationship, etc., without a proper goodbye and seemingly disappeared.

Typically, people who ghost are people who don't want to go through the drawn-out process of saying farewells. Ghosting looks differently depending on the circumstance.

For example, if a person is at a party and bounces without saying goodbye, he went ghost. Or, if a gf in a relationship is stressing out about how to end it and cuts off contact without a proper break-up, she went ghost.
