StarCraft 2 players sometime refer to a group of Terran bio units as a bioball. These squads consist primarily of Marines and Marauders, which may be backed up by other bio or mech units.
Bioballs are a common yet effective Terran build, especially when facing down Protoss or Terran opponents. However, if an enemy builds AoE units to counter your bioball, you may be SOL.
