A blep is when an animal unconsciously leaves the tip of their tongue outside their mouth. For example, a cat that has their tongue hanging out of their mouth may be described as blepping. Cats are most likely to blep, but other animals also blep.
Because the Internet loves pets, social media users and meme makers often share pictures of animals blepping. Those who capture pictures of celebrities with their tongues out may also describe those celebrities as blepping, or post the picture alongside the word blep.
