Botox is a golf term for a putt that seems like it's going into the hole but lips out. It plays off the ball "lipping out" and the common practice of injecting Botox to fill thin lips.
Botox is one of the more excruciating moments in golf as it makes the golfer think the putt is going in then comes back out. It is the opposite of a "back-door putt" or "victory lap" that spins around the lip of the hole and falls in.
