CBB stands for "Can't be bothered," which is a way to say that someone or something is not worth your time. It is commonly used online on social media or in text messages to quickly dismiss a person.

The acronym is often utilized by a person who is cranky or annoyed and doesn't want to spend time replying to a person's question or comment. Tweens, teens, and young adults are common users of the acronym, especially when they are filled with angst, aka "Emo."

CBB may also be used in a more innocent manner to just say that you are very busy and just can't be bothered at the moment. However, if this is the case you should pick a different acronym, like CTN or CTRN. Or you should just explain that you are too preoccupied at the moment because that will save you time in the long run from having to make amends for hurt feelings.
