What does chrismukkah mean?

Chrismukkah is a combination of "Christmas" and "Hanukkah" reflecting the merging of celebrated traditions. The term was made popular by Seth Cohen, a character on the teenage soap opera "The O.C.," who had a Jewish father and Christian mother. Chrismukkah is also celebrated by Jewish families who just want to take part in Christmas.
