What does COPD stand for?

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

An acronym for one of the most common lung diseases.

COPD is mainly caused by smoking, the more a person a smokes, the more likely he will develop COPD. The two main forms of COPD are Chronic bronchitis (a long term cough with mucus) and Emphysema (damage to the lungs over time). COPD symptoms include coughing, respiratory infections, fatigue, SOB, and wheezing.
