A disruptor is a champion in League of Legends (LoL) that focuses on shutting down opponents by keeping the enemy carry busy and stopping enemy damage from getting to his team's carry. The role is usually performed by a jungler or top lane champion.
The disruptor role is classified as a support or controller along with the enchanter role. The disruptor creates intense zones to deter incoming enemies and must be selfless in order to help the team win. This means that the champion must focus on completing his job and not his own well being in the game.
