What does jungler mean?

A jungler is a gaming term that refers to a player that goes into the jungle, non-lane, areas of maps in order to kill neutral monsters, or "creeps," and acquire experience (xp) and gold. It is commonly used in League of Legends (LOL) and Warcraft 3: DOTA.
