An abbreviation for the number of "effective" actions taken by a player in the RTS game StarCraft 2; can be viewed as one of the statistics in StarCraft 2 replays; differs from APM, which counts every single action regardless if whether or not the player is "APM spamming;" prior to the 1.4.3 game patch, APM was counted as effective APM and the EPM statistic did not exist.
